These were both good training sessions in terms of ICE. The 2nd one had some problems because I had an enormous headache after the first round, but I found a way to push through and do my best.
A. Clean & Jerk – 5 singles @ 245-255#; rest 90sec
Nothing major to report here. Made all 5 lifts, 2 @ 245 & 3 @ 255. I forgot the camera at home for this morning session, so there’s not video, sorry.
B. Power Clean & Jerk – 3 reps on the min @ 205# for 12min (tap and go from clean -> jerk)
This was difficult again, but I did significantly better this time. I made it through all 12 rounds without a miss and making all 3 reps each time. I typically did 1 rep every 10 seconds so I got 30 seconds rest each round. Big improvement, but still needs work.
C. HS Walking Practice – 15-20min
Just had some fun with this. Haven’t done much of this in awhile and my shoulders were kinda smoked from all the jerks. I did ok, but not great. Definitely need a lot more work here still. Gonna start adding some handstand walking into my warm up.

Wow, these were rough. A lot tougher than I expected. The first one went ok, but the other 2 weren’t very good at all. I got a HUGE headache after the first round and just had to find a way to push through the other 2 rounds. My times were 2:48-3:27-3:46. Video below:
