Mon 12/1/14:
Slept only 6.5 hours last night, but got a lot of rest between Thursday and today, so I felt fresh this morning. My left wrist is kinda jacked up again, not sure when I did it, must’ve been the snatches on Saturday. Gonna ice it and work my forearm. I also ended up catching a bit of a nap in the afternoon.

Pretty good training session. I gave it my all, but intensity wasn’t through the roof with just strength work.

A1. Front Squat – 3 x 5 tough reps; rest 60sec
I hit these at a solid 265 lbs, definitely not a 5RM, but very difficult, especially by the 3rd set with the short rests.
A2. Push Press – 3 x 5 tough reps; rest 60sec
I hit all these at 185 lbs. Kinda hard on the wrist. These were definitely difficult, not sure I could’ve gone much heavier with the short rest, maybe 205 at the very most, but I’m not sure I would’ve made the 3rd set. Video below:

B. Wtd Pull-up – build to 3RM; rest as needed
Worked up to 85 lbs. Felt good here. Hit sets at 60-70-80-85. Videos below:

C. Sorensen Hold – 4 x AMSAP; rest 90sec
Feel the burn! Just tried my best to hold on here. My times were 1:48-1:30-1:16-1:12. Videos are below:

Round 4:

30cals Row
20 Thrusters @ 95#
10 Muscle-ups
Rest 3min
This was pretty difficult. I actually felt pretty strong in the muscles, but my breathing was labored and I felt like I was going to puke during rounds 2 & 3, which slowed me down. My times were: 3:56-5:38-6:18. Videos of rounds 1 & 3 are below.

Round 2:
No Video, Anthony couldn’t figure out how to get the GoPro on, something weird was happening with it, I had to take the battery out and put it back in to get it to work for round 3.

This was a good session, but very difficult. I was fighting back the urge to puke during rounds 2 & 3.
