I didn’t end up doing anything on New Years because Kel was sick so I got a lot of rest the couple days off during this week.
This was a good session, but kind there were parts where the intensity was low and other times when the intensity was very high. I thought I could’ve pushed the pace on the first piece more, but I didn’t want to miss any MUs, so I played it safe.

UB Sets of Muscle-ups
*to be completes as: 10 UB CJ / 5 UB MU / 5 UB MU / 8 UB CJ / 4…./4….
This was good, but like I said above, I would’ve like to push the pace a little more. I was just worried about missing a set of MUs. My time ended up being 8:29. Video below:
Rest to full recovery
15 UB HSPU
20 UB Walking Lunges @ 135#
200m Rest Walk
I started really getting the hang of normal HSPUs again and kicked some major ass in the last couple rounds. My times were 1:20-1:14-1:15-1:03. Videos are below:
Started well, got a little off track when I bashed my shin into the box and started bleeding everywhere.
100 Double-unders (1:05)
100 Burpee Box Jumps (10:49)
100 Cals Row (5:49)
*get split time for each movement
This WOD went ok. DUs started solid, not unbroken, but I recovered quickly so I didn’t waste much time. The burpee box jumps were just a mental battle, especially because I completely bashed my shin (happens at about 3:50 on the youtube video). I just tried to not waste too much time when my legs went numb with pain and was bleeding and keep going. I don’t really know how that time is for 100 of these, you’ll have to tell me. The 100 Cal Row sucked, as to be expected, but I just tried to get long hard pulls and find a way to survive it. This one sucked pretty bad. Video below:
