Daniel is our Member of the Month!
Daniel joined us just with in this last year and has absolutely crushed it since joining us. Fun fact is that Daniel is a barber and has given Coach Nick a good looking cut. So if you need to get yourself looking good with a new cut then Daniel is your man! If you don’t know who Daniel is, it is because he is a 5 am guy. He is insanely consistent and you can see that with the amazing progress he has made. Daniel is one of the nicest people you will meet and we are so happy that he walked through our door just under a year ago. You are the man, Daniel! Well Deserved Member of the Month.
When did you join Croga?
- I joined Croga and my CrossFit journey in December 2023.
What were you doing before for fitness?
- Before Croga I had been into climbing, power yoga, and running.
What was your first workout? First reaction to your first workout?
- My first workout was Helen and it got me amped for more.
What improvements have you seen in the way you look, feel and perform?
- Improvements: My shirts fit better, I feel stronger in all my daily activities, and my form has improved significantly.
What days and times do you come to Croga?
- My gym schedule is Monday-Friday 5am.
What’s your favorite WOD?
- Favorite WOD: 400m suitcase carry, 100 kettlebell swings, 100 ab mat sit-ups (partitioned however)
What’s your least favorite WOD?
- Least favorite WOD: I like them all but this one was the hardest I can remember. EMOM 15 row cals, 15 wall balls, 10 hang power snatches, 50 double unders for 24 min.
“The Daniel” WOD! What would it be?
- The Daniel WOD: For time 500m row, 10 pull-ups, 20 burpee box jump overs, 40 single arm dumbbell clean and jerk.
What’s your favorite post-workout routine?
- My favorite post workout routine is watching morning cartoons with Lenny.
What’s been your favorite culinary discovery since joining Croga?
- My favorite culinary discovery since joining Croga has been microgreens.
What’s your biggest fitness goal for this year?
- My biggest fitness goal for this year is to learn handstand walking.
What do you love about this type of fitness?
- I love the variety of CrossFit.
What words of advice do you have for new members or people considering joining Croga?
- My advice for new members would be to listen to your body, get enough quality sleep, and focus on form first.
