
Meet Alexa, our Member of the Month!
Since officially joining Croga in January 2026, Alexa (AKA Cessa) has become a familiar face around the gym and if you ask her, she basically lives here now! Before Croga, fitness was never something she did consistently, but now she’s crushing 7am classes, Wednesday Powerlifting, and Sunday workouts. She has been building strength, confidence, and consistency along the way. Cessa seems to love the variety of workouts at Croga , even if wall balls, box jump overs, and burpees still top her most hated list. Her biggest goal this year is to stay consistent, continue eating healthier, and start tackling more workouts unscaled. Cessa’s advice for new members is don’t be intimidated, everyone here is supportive, encouraging, and ready to cheer you on when you need it most! We are extremely lucky that she is here at our gym and are very excited to celebrate her consistency and progress already! Keep crushing it!!!

When did you join Croga?
I officially joined Croga in January 2026, but before that took like 4 classes here and there since June 2025.
What were you doing before for fitness?
Honestly, nothing. I would workout once in a blue moon, but nothing ever consistent to see any results.
What was your first workout? First reaction to your first workout?
My first workout was a hybrid endurance class when we had DEKA style classes. I don’t remember what it was but I don’t think it was too bad.
What improvements have you seen in the way you look, feel, and perform?
I’ve seen lots of improvement, especially since I never really worked out.
What days and times do you come to Croga?
If you didn’t know, I basically live at the gym now…
Lately, I’ve been going to the 7am class (MTWF and sometimes Th), 6:30pm Powerlifting on Wednesdays, and 8am Sundays.
What’s your favorite WOD?
Powerlifting workouts on Wednesdays
What’s your least favorite WOD?
There’s a lot I don’t enjoy because I’m not good at it…
My least favorite has to be anything with wall balls and box jump overs. They suck! Ohhh and burpees
“The ALEXA” WOD — what would it be?
Something with deadlifts, ab mat sit ups, Russian kettlebell swings and a little running
What’s your favorite post-workout routine?
I don’t think I have one. However, I do love when I go to the gym with Dillan so he can drive me home afterwards and I get to just chill and be a passenger princess
What’s been your favorite culinary discovery since joining Croga?
Angela’s focaccia bread!!! It’s delicious!!! If you haven’t tried it, you need to.
What’s your biggest fitness goal for this year?
My goal this year is to finally be consistent at the gym and eat healthy. I’m hoping I’m able to do more things unscaled in the near future.
What do you love about this type of fitness?
I love that there’s a mix of different things to do. When I worked out on my own before, it would always be the same things which kinda got boring.
What words of advice do you have for new members or people considering joining Croga?
Don’t be intimidated! Everyone is super nice and easy to talk to. They’re very supportive and cheer you on when you need it the most. I honestly love the community at Croga and it’s a big factor to me joining this gym.
