Slept 7 hours last night. My quads & IT bands are totally destroyed from the last 2 days, I think it started with the 60 thrusters. I worked on them with the foam roller last night, but they were still super tight and fatigued this morning.
This was a good session, especially because my back didn’t seize up. I was definitely worried about it the whole time, so my focus wasn’t completely on point and I didn’t push myself to the complete limit because I was just trying to keep my back good so I could finish.
10 Rounds for time
10 Deadlift @ 135#
10 BF Burpees
10 Box Jumps @ 24″ (Step-down)
*compare to Nov-5
Time was 18:41. I think I could’ve gone a bit faster without concerns about my back, maybe less rest between stations, but I thought I did a pretty good job. Video below:
Row – 3 x 500m @ 100% effort; rest exactly 12min
Legs were definitely feeling it from earlier in the day and I was CRUSHED between the rounds. I had some extremely lactic acid buildup between rounds, I could barely bend my knees and my quads felt like they were seizing up. My times were 1:26.3 – 1:35.0 – 1:38.4
The 1:26.3 was 1 tenth of a second slower from my previous PR.
